Who we are. The JVal Valuer Community is run by the creators of JVal, based in the UK. Questions about this policy or your data: info@jval.info.

Where the forum lives. The forum is hosted by Discourse (Civilized Discourse Construction Kit, Inc.) at jval.discourse.group. Your account data and posts are stored on Discourse’s servers and are also subject to Discourse’s own privacy policy.

What we collect. When you join we collect your name or username, email address and anything you add to your profile. The forum also stores what you post, and standard technical information (such as IP addresses and log data) collected automatically by the Discourse platform to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it. To operate your account, approve new memberships, send you notifications you’ve chosen to receive, and moderate the community. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising, and we don’t share it with anyone except the hosting platform described above.

Public visibility. Discussion areas of the forum can be read by visitors who are not members. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t want publicly visible — and never any client information.

Your rights. You can ask us at any time to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and data. Email info@jval.info and we’ll act promptly.

Cookies. The forum uses only the cookies Discourse needs to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
